Role Summary:


We are seeking a high-energy, entrepreneurial Head of Sales – India to lead the domestic business development and revenue generation efforts. This is a strategic role responsible for securing marquee customers across the defense, aerospace, and industrial sectors, building pipeline velocity, and owning the sales execution flywheel.


The ideal candidate will bring deep networks, strong customer orientation, and a passion for nation-building through industrial innovation.


Key Responsibilities:


Lead AeroDef Nexus’s India-based sales initiatives across defense, civil aviation, helicopters, and future-of-war domains.


Develop and drive the India GTM strategy to secure anchor customers and program partnerships.


Build and manage a robust sales pipeline with measurable KPIs and quarterly targets.


Collaborate with leadership, engineering, finance, and marketing to ensure alignment across offerings and campaigns.


Negotiate and close high-value contracts with government, PSU, and private sector customers.


Represent AeroDef Nexus at key industry forums, trade shows, and stakeholder meetings.


Provide market intelligence and feedback to shape product-market fit and vertical prioritization.


Qualifications:


10+ years of experience in B2B/enterprise sales, preferably in aerospace, defense, or industrial verticals.


Proven track record of closing complex sales deals and building customer relationships.


Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.


Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to thrive in a lean, high-growth, founder-led environment.


Prior experience working with Indian defense procurement ecosystem (e.g., MoD, DPSUs, DRDO) is a strong plus.


Compensation:


Fixed Salary: ₹12,00,000 per annum (CTC)


Performance-Based Variable: Generous profit-sharing component linked to sales performance and company profitability.


Equity/ESOPs: May be considered based on long-term contribution and fit.
